Missouri deer hunting season comes to an end


JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - Missouri's 2019-20 deer hunting season has come to an end and the Missouri Department of Conservation has the numbers.

The preliminary data from the MDC shows that the deer harvest was over 285,000 in the Show-Me State. The predominant number of deer harvested were antlered bucks and does.

Archery season for deer hunting also ended, with preliminary numbers showing that hunters got over 61,000 deer. Also coming to an end, was the fall archery turkey hunting season.

Preliminary data shows a little over 2,400 turkeys were harvested. For more information on this season’s deer harvest totals, you can visit the MDC website at extra.mdc.mo.gov/widgets/harvest_table/
